The Lion King Jr. follows Simba, a young lion destined to be king of the Pride Lands. After the death of his father, Mufasa, Simba is tricked by his evil uncle Scar into thinking he’s to blame, causing him to flee. In exile, Simba grows up carefree with friends Timon and Pumbaa. When his childhood friend, Nala, urges him to return, Simba faces his past and learns that true leadership means accepting responsibility.
